Game theory pdf book

I am looking for the best book that contains a mathematically rigorous introduction to game theory. I am a group theorist who has taken a recent interest in game theory, but I'm not sure of the best place to learn about game theory from first principles. Any suggestions? Thanks!

A Course in Game Theory | The MIT Press A Course in Game Theory presents the main ideas of game theory at a level suitable for graduate students and advanced undergraduates, emphasizing the theory's foundations and interpretations of its basic concepts. The authors provide precise definitions and full proofs of results, sacrificing generalities and limiting the scope of the material in order to do so. The text is organized in four Game Theory | Open Yale Courses This course is an introduction to game theory and strategic thinking. Ideas such as dominance, backward induction, Nash equilibrium, evolutionary stability, commitment, credibility, asymmetric information, adverse selection, and signaling are discussed and applied to games played in class and to examples drawn from economics, politics, the movies, and elsewhere.

It has applications in all fields of social science, as well as in logic, systems science and computer science.Originally, it addressed zero-sum games, in which each participant's gains or losses are exactly balanced by those of the other participants.

In his book Theory of Games and Eco-nomic Behavior, which he wrote together with Oskar Morgenstern in 1944, he al-ready applied his mathematical theory to economic applications.
